Applied Behavior Analysis is the Science of Behavior. The humane, informed, and compassionate application of the principles of ABA can increase adaptive behaviors including functional communication, social relationships, play, and self-help skills, as well as, decrease maladaptive behaviors that are meaningful for the client and the family. Additionally, some aspects of Applied Behavior Analysis can help parents improve parenting skills through the implementation of principles like Positive Reinforcement.
